Lisinopril Loss of Concentration, Memory Loss

Has anyone had any problems with memory loss or loss of concentration? My wife has become darn-near stupid on this lisinopril. And it takes a lot to get her to wake up in the AM.

Bellabear - YES, YES, YES, YES....this drug crosses the blood brain barrier and is shrinking the brain. Bet she's depressed, can't concentrate, can't retain anything...sound familiar?
Judithkay41 - Yes it does! My husband has been on Lisinopril for about 8 months and is depressed, can't concentrate, can't remember anything, sleeps round the clock and then falls asleep in his chair in the afternoon. Has no energy or ambition. The Dr. changed him from Metropolol 100 mg and Amlodopine 10 mg to Lisinopril 40 mg, Metropolol 50 mg and Amlodopine 10 mg. It increased his pulse rate which the doctor thought was too low, but the serious memory problems started about a month later. He is off of it as of today! His doctor just took him off of it at our request.
