This Drug is dangerous to to 25% of its users I am taking another drug Benicar and not having anything close the the side affects.The insurance companies want your doctor to give to you because its cheap and some are brainwashed that this drug is great and the patients are making it up. If you get the cough stop taking it that is the first sign of trouble it will not go away is just gets worst. It almost destroyed my body and mind.
Dsearle324 - Hi, what were all of your side effects? My husband's doctor wants to switch him from lisinopril ton benecar. What has your experience with this drug? My husband has been suffering with tingling, numbness pain in his arms and legs and we thought it could be due to lipitor, and possibly lisinopril. He is now off lipitor (you can see my post in lipitor) and ready to start benicar. Your experiences would be very helpful. Thanks. dsearle24
Tram7777777 - MY EXPERIENCE WITH LISINOPRIL, ALMOST COST ME MY LIFE, ITCHING, COUGHING, BACK CONSTANTLY HURTING, SWELLING OF MY LEGS, HANDS, MENTAL FOG, I HAVE BEEN OFF OF IT SINCE 07/22/10 I STARTED IT ON 02/18/2010 AND WAS TAKEN OFF AFTER I HAD SWELLING OF MY FACE, TONGUE, THE INSIDE OF MY MOUTH SO SWOLLEN I COULDN'T PUT MY FINGER IN MY MOUTH AND I COULDN'T THINK, OR CONCENTRATE, MY LIPS WERE TWICE THE NORMAL SIZE MY BREATHING WAS VERY HARD, I WAS KEPT IN INTENSIVE CARE FOR 2 DAYS, ALL OF THE SYMPTOMS AND MORE, I TOLD THE DOCTOR THAT I WAS EXPERIENCING, HE NEVER TOLD ME TO STOP TAKING THE LISINOPRIL. I AM NOT TAKING IT NOW BUT I STILL DON'T FEEL LIKE I DID BEFORE I STARTED LISINOPRIL. I ALSO TOOK LIPITOR AND HAD TIGHTNESS OF MY LEGS AND DIDN'T FEEL GOOD AT ALL WHEN I WAS TAKING LIPITOR THE DOCTOR NEVER TOLD ME TO STOP TAKING IT I JUST STOPPED TAKING IT MYSELF. I WOULD WAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND RUB MY LIMBS AND FLEX MY FINGERS, ANY MEDICINE THAT WILL PUT YOUR BODY IN THAT STATE IS DEFINATELY NOT GOOD FOR ANYONE.
