Fatigue, Chest Pain, Shortness of Breath, Post Nasal Drip, Cough, Raspy voice, Sore throat. I was on 10 mg of Lisinopril for a few days and then went down to 5 mg due to the fatigue. (I had a prescription for 5 mg from a previous doctor. I had taken one pill and then decided to try diet change and exercise and not take the drug). Went to the doctor and she thinks it's my stress and grief issues. I had an EKG which was fine. Took it for another week and went back in because I was having such bad chest pains, fatigue which was stopping me from working, the cough, runny nose etc... She listened to my chest, checked my throat and said she would send me for a chest x-ray and some blood work. She said if the cough was bothering me, she would change the med. I had done some research and found that the fatigue and chest pain were from the drug. I didn't tell her I had already stopped taking the Lisinopril the night before. I asked her if the chest pain and fatigue could be a side effect and she said NO. I went for the chest x-ray and blood work. I initially thought I could have a chest cold thing that I brought back from a recent trip to Scotland. I did come home with a cough and slight cold. BUT thanks to this site, I now know my symptoms are due to the Lisinopril. I have been off of it for 4 days and my chest pain and fatigue are better, but not gone. Post nasal drip still here. I'M SO MAD how this drug has made me feel like this and worried me that I have disease or something!!! My doctor didn't give me the time of day and look up other side effects of this drug!!! I'm changing doctors! Thanks to everyone for posting!!
