I've been on the pill for almost two weeks now, the first week I had no symptoms then on Monday I started bleeding and have been bleeding ever since. I hope the symptoms go away soon because I don't know how much longer I can take the bleeding espically since I just had my period less than two weeks ago.
Notagain4 - I have been pregnant 3 times in the past year. An abortion in December(which I am not proud of). I began the nuva ring to help heal my uterus, and it made me COMPLETELY insane, I wanted to jump out of my own skin!! It increased all my feelings of guilt,I immediately quit it! I became prgnant in may, a planned and happy event, and had a miscarriage after only 9 weeks, I did not start birthcontrol right away, and became pregnant, AGAIN, in July, out of fear of an unplanned loss, i had another abortion.....I began loestrin a few days after, and am worried i am pregnant again because i too feel the symptoms of pregnancy, my sex drive is soooo low, which is NOT normal for me, obviously! I am constanly vomiting, hungry, emotional, bloated, and cramping with back pain as though i am on a period!! I want to discontinue immediatley!
Yaltami1 - I have also been on this pill for about a week and a half I had my cycle about two weeks ago and now spotting. I quit taking it a few days ago. I'm still spotting. Did anyone answer your question?
Ocexpert - any ob-gyn will tell you to give yourself 3 months to adjust to a new birth control. In that time you may experience irregular bleeding but it should subside. Take it the same time every day and don't miss any pills. Also, keep in minds that taking other medications with a birth control pill could make it less effective. That could cause irregular bleeding. Hang in there...
Cgatzke57 - Blonde10, I ALSO have had this exact problem with Loestrin 24. I am 50 and have never been on birth control, but was put on this to shorten my peroids.
