Loestrin 24 Fe Birth Control Pills, Scary Dreams, Taking the Pills, Loving Relationship, Weird Feeling

I am very confused, and need a little bit of advice. I'm 17, and I've been taking the pills since August. They really haven't given me any problems, up until the middle of December. I have a history of low serotonin in my mother's side of the family, and she said that birth control pills made her crazy. In the middle of December, I started to feel crippling depression. I've been crying every day and questioning every aspect of my life. I haven't felt comfortable in my house, or anywhere, I haven't felt sure or motivated about anything that I love. I've been in a wonderful, loving relationship for over a year, and all of a sudden, for no reason I don't know about that either. I start wondering if I even know what my feelings are, and can't feel love to anything, and feel like I don't love my boyfriend or my family anymore. I'm really irritable, and cry AT LEAST once a day, the other day in the middle of class. I've also been a bit constipated and had a very weird feeling in my lower stomach, and my appetite has been all over the place. Carmen1 - I'm not a doctor, but the mood problems (in a similar amount of time) you've been having seem similar to what some other people have posted on here.

Abitcrunchy - This makes me so angry. these drugs are causing you to feel this way. Find a natureopathic or chiropractic doctor and loose the trust you have in pharmaceuticals - you've been lied to. Suicide is listed on MANY package inserts as a side effect. The pharma-mafia fought to have it NOT listed on some allergy medications - that doesn't mean it doesn't cause it. Get off the drugs, I can assure you there's a better way.

Alwaysbusy10 - I sent you a private message the other day and I just sent another today... I didnt' realize it was you until I went down further. I just came home from the doctor today. She told me that it is unlikely for me to have side effects so many months into it (about 5 months). However, I am disagreeing right now. If you felt this way and then others on here have felt the same way after a few months it must not be just me. Now my doctor said it could be sever pms called pmdd or something but that happens to people like me in my mid 20s. They put you on antidepressents at that point, but I probably won't do it. I truly feel better today and I don't see me feeling worse right now. Just know you are not the only one feeling worried about stuff, especially with your boyfriend. I have been horrible to him but all I want to do is be happy and be with him. Good luck and keep me posted if you find something. Also, look to try to find your private message for me.

Brittany10 - I am so glad you posted this - I honestly thought I was legitimately falling out of love with my boyfriend and feeling disconnected from friends and basically everything in life. But when I would stop to think about life without my boyfriend, that just made me feel even worse. THIS PILL SUCKS!! I am getting off of it immediately!!

Abak3 - I know i'm late on this, but thankyou for posting this. I've felt the same way*(im 17 too), ive been taking birth control for a month and a half and within the last 2 weeks everything has been falling apart. I have no care to contact my friends, no care to reconcile differences. I have this crazy fear that i'm losing love for my boyfriend whom ive been dating for 9 months and it's scaring me. I love him, i know i do, i just can't feel the emotion, which is my biggest fear. because it seemed like it was just overnight that it happened. i have no appetite, i cry all the time. i have horrible aches in my legs and abdomen. im stopping asap.
