LoEstrin and Chronic Yeast Infection

I have been on Loestrin for about 10 months now and have only recently had a yeast infection. I have had 2 within the past month and was wondering if anyone else had this issue and if it is normal. Could it be that it was not treated entirely the first time or could it be a symptom for something else? I am nervous about what it might mean so if someone could get back to me it would be appreciated.
Shontay06 - It seems that you, I, and others have had this same problem. I started having these infections a little after I started this pill. I know it cant be anything else because I drink plenty of water, eat healthy and I'm not having sex with anyone. There are other posts on this problem too.
Sjmr2007 - I have had some problems, but I was told that you should drink more cranberry juice when you are on the pill to prevent this. I drink Ocean Spray light cranberry often and it definitely helps. Try to incorporate more cranberries in your diet.
Kb613 - I have been on Loestrin 24 Fe for the past 3 months and have had 2 yeast infections. My birth control pill is the only thing I have changed. Thanks for posting. Good to know I'm not the only one who's had this problem. My nurse practitioner says it isn't impossible that they could be connected, but it's not likely. I disagree. Don't know what else it could be, and I refuse to keep having yeast infections!
Linadina - This is shocking. I too have been on LoEstrin for about a year and have recently had 2 yeast infections in 2months...something is funny. Im really frustrated. After i see the doctor for treatment this week I'm getting off of this pill.
