Muscle and joint aches the first week after the shot (3-month shot). General fatigue. Sometimes pain or soreness in the injection site for a few days. But overall, after being on Lupron for two years, I was very satisfied. It gave me my quality of life back again. Hot flashes were nothing in comparison to the problems I was experiencing with endo. However, in March, 2003, I had to stop taking the Lupron (my doctor said I could not take it indefinitely, of course), so I had a hysterectomy. Now I am feeling fatigue regularly - and some muscle aches. I'm wondering if I'm having withdrawal symptoms from the Lupron or am I just experiencing side effects from the surgery. Has anyone experienced withdrawal side effects when you've stopped taking Lupron? Thanks.
