Yasmin Hi Chris I just wanted to let you know that someone cares how you are feeling. Believe me, I do. I was on Yasmin for close to 2 years when all hell broke loose for me - anxiety and panic attacks, heart palpitations, muscle weakness ..... the list goes on and on! I thought I was going crazy ..... I was so down and thought that I would never get my life back. It has been 10 months now off of Yasmin and I am so much better. I am 38 years old so I chose not to get back on any kind of pills. I truly believe that Yasmin should not be prescribed so PLEASE, if you can... try not to get back on Yasmin. Good luck to you and know that someone shares your pain. As you can see, I still come to this website to read all of the post (10 months later). Take care of yourself!
Yasmin Update - I am now 9 months post Yasmin. My periods come every 34-36 days apart. Although most of my terrible symptoms have subsided, I still struggle with a form of anxiety - an anxiety about my health. I feel like with every little ache or pain, I begin to worry that something is seriously wrong with me. I was never like this before Yasmin. I feel like this is consuming me and I have to do something about it. PLEASE - Does anyone have any suggestions? It seems to be worse about 1 week after my period.
Bactrim I was prescribed Bactrim for a bad sinus infection. I took it along with a pain reliever and decongestant for eight days before I had any severe side effects. First I noticed that my glands were swollen, and by that eighth day my left gland was the size of my thumb. I was getting extremely tired and kept spacing out, perhaps from being sick and taking the decongestant, and I had no appetite. At night my leg started uncontrollably kicking out for about half an hour as I was trying to sleep. I called for an appointment with my doctor, and on the way there I realized I was getting a rash on my stomach and chest and it was rapidly spreading. That night my face was scarlet colored and my whole body was covered in itchy hives. My doctor told me to immediately stop taking the Bactrim, but since so much was in my system, it took a few days for my body to return to somewhat normal.
