Singulair Everybody, thank you so much for this discussion board. My mother told me tonight that singulair was on the news. Then I googled and found this. Now I understand my son's behavior - he was so weepy over littlest things that he didn't before; outbursts; mood swings; extreme anger whoa! Now I feel like shit for being so hard on him. I never thought it was Singulair - I think he got on it around Sept of last year. I'm definitely finding another med as his allergies are pretty bad. He also uses Flo-Nase at bedtime. I was on Singulair for few years and got off it cuz I noticed i had a honking big ball of phlegm in my throat every morning when i woke up and i had to hack it up every day. Now I'm on Advair 500 mg 2x a day and Flo-nase. I hardly use my blue puffer, only when I'm sick with cold or bronchitis. Even then, I wasn't as sick as I used to be.
