Toprol-XL After 3 months on Toprol XL 50mg, I experience the common side effects [cold hands, unusual dreams and drousiness] but it has improved the atrial fib for which I'm also on coumadin and lanoxin. Also I have been on a daily Flomax cap for 15 yrs for a prostrate condition. Two weeks ago the Flomax was too effective so I went to one every other day which also became to be too much. Now I'm to one every two days which feels too effective. My thoughts focus to the Toprol as the reason for the favorable influence for improving prostritis or whats going on ?.
