PredniSONE I was in for poison ivy and was given prednisone. I was to start with 60 mg a day and taper off to 10 mg after 11 days. Well, I'm only five days into it and I have extreme acne all over my face and neck. My heart races at times and I've been moody. I'm not sure what "moon face" is. I'm just glad to know that I haven't gone nuts. Will I go back to normal after the meds are gone?
