My Side Effect Posts

Mirena Okay....Sorry ladies, I'm Hi-Jacking your women's only postings on Mirena for one second. My daughter just e-mailed me a few minutes ago to tell me that she was considering having this Mirena inserted to try and help her with her very bad menstrual cramps that she has had for years. The Doctors, and there have been many, haven't been able to figure out WHY she's had so much pain over the years during her period. Then she talks to this lady that said she had the Mirena inserted recently, and it had helped her with her endometriosis. Which is what we think is wrong with my daughter. She has all of the symptoms of endometriosis, along with all of the menstrual problems as well. But me, being a concerned Father, I always do research on everything before I try it or buy it. Or if any of the members of my family that are interested in trying or buying anything, i do the research. The internet is a Godsend for that purpose alone! However, after reading all of these posting from you ladies willing to share all of the side effects that y'all have experienced, I'm going to suggest to my precious daughter, that keep searching for her miracle cure and not have this Mirena inserted. She's got enough problems without the problems that this Mirena seems to be causing for most of you.
