PredniSONE I started on 60mg of Prednisone a day for severe ITP on month ago. I'm always hungry, feel spacey, have a rapid heart rate, feel short of breath and sweat easily on any exertion. Am definitely awake! I've gained weight, a moon face, and am losing too much hair. But my platelet count has improved and I hope to be able to taper down in the next couple of months.
