NuvaRing I was on the NuvaRing for about four months. One of the first things I asked when my gyno recommended it as a safe, effective form of birth control was, how is a ring that stays up in your vagina for weeks safe and sanitary? We all know that you cannot have a tampon up in there for more than a day, so how is the ring any different? I got a bacteria infection and bladder infection while on the ring. I think that the ring is an unsanitary breeding ground for bacteria and infections. I will never use it again. In my opinion, THE NUVARING IS DANGEROUS.
