I have mirena for 2 years and 6 months I feel depress I can not wear contact lenses since, I think my ANA is high for this reason 1135 is not lupus but the only extrange in my body is Mirena I do not drink any medicine I was healthy before it Does anybody has this side effect? ... more »

Lindsaybartha - I have worn contacts for 15 years. I have never had an issue..... I got the mirena put in a week ago and have not been able to wear my contacts at since day 1 o it being in. My eyes are so itchy and watery at all times. I didn't know why until I starting looking online for information in the mirena because I have had so much spotting and cramping. It's only been a week, and I'm already wanting it removed!
