Nasonex Throat Discomfort, Singulair, Natural Remedies, Nightmares, Suspicions

My 6 year old son has been on Nasonex on and off for about 1 year. He began having terrible anxiety and complained of throat discomfort. It was difficult for him to explain but he kept worrying that he would "throw up". The anxiety seemed to increase over time and we could not figure out where this had come from. He was also using Singulair periodically. We have since associated the anxiety with one or both of these. He suffers from a lot of allergies but we just can't watch him go through such anxiety. It seemed to be worse at night and he did experience nightmares. It's difficult for a child to explain what they are feeling. I'm confident that these drugs were the root of this anxiety. We have cut out these drugs and his anxiety has disappeared. We use over the counter medication to help on bad allergy days and we are searching out some natural remedies. I hope this helps other parents out there that may have the same suspicions.
