Gabapentin 300mgs

I have been just perscribed this cause of right leg pain! has anyone had this exsperience.
Wullie - Yes I have had Gabapentin for right sided leg pain I was taken 2400 mgs , I am now taking PreGablin for the leg pain I have taken these for over 2yrs now I have had surgery to relive pressure on the disc L5 S1 Right sided discectomy for Sciatica pain , I have 3 disc's which are dehydrated and I am also having steriod injections into my disc's and hips to see if these will help with the leg /back pain as the surgeon wont fuse these discs as it will have a worse effect in the long run, I have had around 5 sets of various types of steriod injections in diffrent area's of my back/hips in the past 2 years, I am now waiting to see if I am going to be suitable for a spinal cord stimulator to help control the pain.... I am also going to tell you not to miss your Gabapentin or stop it without the help of your Gp as you have to come of this drug gradualy over a space of weeks, I have also had a discogram to see if its the discs thats causing the problems I have atharitis in the spine as well which is really painfull I hope I have helped in a way to answer your question I will monitor your post to see if you need any furtehr advice
