Niaspan ER fatty food, fatty foods, time today, long time
I have not had flushing for a long time. Today I went to a party, ate fatty food, and here I am after midnight still burning. I know it will eventually go away, but yikes. I am going to try avoiding fatty foods from now on. -
Fatty foods get me everytime. On those nights I skip the Niaspan or wait several hours to take it.

I usually find that if I have eaten too soon befoe taking Niaspan, especially heavy, spicy food like Mexican, tha I have flushing. On those night that I have had a late dinner or heavy meal I simply skip the Niaspan.

Yes, I was very fit before taking Niaspan. I have been left with chronic muscle fatigue which never completely resolved. That was Ten years ago. I am limited to six hours per day physical activity. I am only 53, but feel like I am 80 years old.

Oh yes, Many people report being awaken in the night with side effects. It happened to me. I thought I was dying as I could hardly draw breath. In my personal opinion this drug would make a great biological weapon.

Shingles and Niaspan
