Was Taking Niaspan and Still Having Side Effects From It.

I have been on Niaspan since Sept. and was having itching and rash, then blood sugar went high and had many of the side effects listed. It will be a week Dec.22 that I am off of this drug and I am still having symptoms from it. Wondering how long this stays in your body when you have been on something for that long.
