Norvasc Tons of Money, Cough, Heck, Doctors, Poisonous Substances

I took the generic for Norvasc (amlodipine)for 2 months and all I have
to say is the stuff is pure junk.
I felt absolutely AWFUL.
I felt like I had been poisoned.
My lips and tongue swelled,canker sores on my tongue
and I became horribly depressed.
What a bunch of BS!!!
I'm not taking anymore of these poisonous substances!
Kdean64 - I am so glad I decided to check for myself to see about these horrible mouth sores I've been having since I started taking Amlodipine (the generic for Norvasc). My Cardiologist didn't catch it, my regular doctor didn't catch it and so I went to my periodontist and he didn't catch it. I have been suffering with these sores (off and on, but mostly on) since just after I had a heart attack in July. I'm not taking it anymore!
Alexsgranny - similar things have happened to my mother, I just told her to stop taking Amlodipine. She still has the cough and nobody could figure it out! I'm so frustrated that why the heck all these doctors can not figure out things like this? they cost us tons of money but nothing helps! I swear I won't even bother to see those doctors any more! whole bunch junks!
Sobeit_ii - I started taking amlodipine besylate 11/12/2010. Since then, I have had one canker sore after the other. After reading your posts, I think the medication is causing them. I stopped taking the drug yesterday. I'll let you know...
Glitzysissy - After reading all of your replies on this drug, now I know why my mouth was so sore and messed up. This is terrible. Have you all been ok without the drug. I'm not taking it anymore. I don't like retaining water, that's not a good sign at all and the mouth thing! Wow I should have looked it up sooner. Thank you all for your comments
Glitzysissy - I'm getting off all these drugs. What helps get rid of the water retention. I'm only taking Omega 3's calcium and B's. No more prescriptions.
