I Like My NuvaRing
I've been on NuvaRing for about a year and a half. I've had several symptoms from the hormones, for example I can literally run my hand through my hair and pull out two or three strands, and when I get out of the shower it looks like my cat was in there. The hair loss doesn't bother me that much though, I still have a beautiful long voluminous head of hair even after all this time (it's just a bit to clean up).
The most annoying side effect I suffered was that I gained 30 pounds. However, once I stopped pouting and got on the treadmill, I've been able to lose 15 again and I'm still going. I actually joined weight watchers which helped a lot.
It seems like NuvaRing is not the right method for a lot of people people on here, but it suits me just fine. My emotions are calm, my sex drive is up, my periods are punctual, and it's very easy to use and remember.
The most important thing to remember is that everyone's body is different.
