Omnicef Bacteria in the Stomach, Sinus Infection, Diaper Rash, Diarrhea, Rash on

My 3 1/2 year old son was prescribed omnicef for a sinus infection. After the first dose he had diarrhea. I called his doctor after the 2nd dose and she told me to give him culturelle 1-2x a day to help. The 3rd day he still had diarrhea, so I called the doctor again and told her I am not giving it to him anymore. She told me to stop the meds and she will call in something else. Tonight which is the 1st day w/o omnicef- he still has diarrhea, got a diaper rash and I just noticed a rash on his chest. The pharmacist said to continue culturelle because omnicef upsets the bacteria in the stomach. NEVER TAKE THIS IS YOUR DR. PRESCRIBES IT.
