I was put on this antibiotic for a sinus infection. Nearly, 8 days later I ended up in the hospital for 2 days with severe bruising on my legs and underarms. My blood was so thin, that my dr. said if I would have cut myself I could have bleed to death. This was a very scary situation. Nearly, a year ago my then 10 year old after being on Omnicef...about a week later she broke out in a rash all over her neck, back, and chest. I took her to the er where she then passed out. I would not recommend this drug to anyone, and in my opinion it should be recalled.
