600 mg a day

My doctor prescribed me budeprion sr 150 mg tablets - take 2 tablets twice a day. I have read not to take over 400 mg in one day but I am taking 600mg in one day. Is anyone else doing that? Is this dosage normal?

i thought they used that high dosage off label to treat add? But i know the fda says no higher than 450
