adair diskus 250/50

i took advair for many years and noticed hair loss but never connected the two until i read this site. i was on the lowest dose of advair and only took it once a day, sometimes once every other day- i was always tryng to get off it. i resent drugs that insist on being taken forever. i am off it now and there is much less hair in the shower drain. another area of concern is your tooth enamel. my dentist is sure that i grind my jaws at night because my enamel is crazed. i even got one of those sleep things, which i could never use because it makes me choke. but my boyfriend says i don't grind my jaws at night. then i read here that it's a known side effect of advair. try to get yourself off it. at least get on a lower dose and take it as infrequently as possible

Dear Propsguy, I'v read your replyand glad to get the answer. My doctor took me off of it and try to do without it for awhile. I;m going to see how it does without it. It has cause me some acme on my neck and can't seems to get rid off it. Since I will go without it maybe all this will go back to my normal cycle of hair growth and acme free. My doctor told me that prednisone in advair and the pill itself will cause this. Now I know for now on when they give me Rxs I will find out more about it and what in it before I take it. I'm beginning to find out the informations any Rxs that are listed on the pamphlet for side effects.Great news to hear less hair loss. I didn't know that it will cause problems on your teeth. Boy, I'm gald to hear that. I don't have that problem yet. Also there are comments I read on this web site that people have talked about different problems they have and how they feel about advair. It was really interestings to read it. I'm glad that I'm not the only one that has this problems.
