Addiction

My doc recently fave me this drug because I told her I was having trouble at night sleeping. SHe put me on this but oticed how much it helped with the muscles in my neck. zi recently had a discectemy and the removed a disc and put a plate in my neck. Now that I finally have muscle relief she wants to take me off of it because she says it can be very addicting. Is this true ? Should I go to a pyschiatrist just so I can keep taking the medicine because they also use it for anxiety. I live in Columbus Ohio so if anyone knows of a good head doctor that would be great.
