Advair & Vitiligo

I've been on Advair now for a couple of years and I have to say it's worked pretty good. However, about two years ago I noticed I started getting some tiny white spots over my forearms on my neck. Went to my doctor who didn't think it was anything but suggested I go see a dermatologist. The dermatologist I went to said it could be Tinea Versicolor since I had just come back from vacation or Vitiligo and did a biopsy. The biopsy came back inconclusive and now I have white spots all over my body. The aggressiveness of it has made me nervous. No one in my family has ever had Vitiligo so I was worried it could be auto immune. I decided to go to another dermatologist who said it was Vitiligo and she ordered some blood work and it all seems to be ok but I don't understand how I can go to 3 different doctors and none make the connection between the Advair and the Vitiligo! Is there something else besides Advair available that won't cause this condition and if I switch to something else what are the chances that these spots will ever go away?
