After almost 3 years on Bisoprolol Fumarate (10mg)......

I am a 48yr old female, being treated with Bisoprolol Fumarate (10mg daily) for high blood pressure, but really am feeling the quality of life I am having some days as quite intolerable :( For the last 2 months I have been finding that my breasts have been feeling tender, especially when in bed, and also my lower back is quite sore and feel quite dizzy some days........ has any females experienced these symptoms? I visited a Doctor yest (not my own Doctor, as I wouldn't know who that is nowadays, just have to take appointments with whoever is available, which I find very frustrating) and he suggested that I stop taking the Bisoprolol for a fortnight or so to see if the symptoms disappeared - I found that quite a disturbing suggestion as on most things you read up about Blood Pressure medications are NOT to stop suddenly??
