Allergic reaction

Posted at 6:45 PM on Sep 07, 2008 by annettemc, #7442
I had several allergic reactions to Lisinopril 10 mg. I was on it for 7 weeks. During the 4th, 5th and 6th weeks, I was extremely tired all the time. Early in the 7th week I started to have some trouble breathing and my lower back was sore. By the end of the 7th week my breathing was much worse, I always felt full even though I hadn't eaten anything, very short of breath, dry cough, less urine elimination, and my sugar numbers went really high for me. I immediately went to my doctor and he said I was having an allergic reaction to the medicine, to stop taking it and it would take 2 - 3 weeks for me to feel better and longer for the dry cough to go away. Have I done any permanent damage? Why am I so short of breath and why do I always feel so darn full all the time? I never felt like that before unless I hate a huge meal, which is rare.
