Altace symptoms

I am wishing to get off ramipril 10mg as the constant pain that moves from my left arm and chest, up to my jaw and then down to my sides and dodgy right knee are becoming unbearable, I went off them for 5 days and had a series of intense pains around my body like I was being hit by a flu, any ideas how long it takes for this drug to get out of the system completely?
