Alternatives to Cipro?

Posted at 9: 3 PM on Oct 21, 2008 by taraootie, #8036
I just need an alternative to Cipro. It needs to be a broad spectrum antibiotic. Also, does anyone know what I can do to prevent possible tendon damage after taking Cipro? I was on a 3day course about 2 weeks ago and I need to take some preventive measures. Thanks for any help! T.

Have you tried augmentin? There are many many antibiotics that you can consider. Just stay away from other fluoroquinolones like Levaquin, Noroxin and Avelox. Good luck.

Also, Augmentin just has amoxicillin in it, so its not boad spectrum.
