Anyone who has used Topamax

I have been taking it for a month and I have developed the typical: metallic taste, brain fog, and tingling fingers/toes. However, I've also developed symptoms that seem like Bipolar Disorder to me and I've NEVER had any problems like this in my life. All research i've done says Topamax can be written off label to treat Bipolar and other Mood Disorders. So, if it can treat it could it still cause it? Did you have experience extreme highs and lows on this medicine?? I have an appointment with my doctor but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced the same thing.
