Aricept long term side effect

In dec 2003, I had a noctural epileptic siezure and had two more since. I was 62 years old then. To my knowledge I am not aware of any history of siezures or any major convultions before. I dont remember ever loosing concience before either. Two years prior to my first seizure, I was diagnose for MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairement) and was prescribed ARICEPT. Is it possible that Aricept be the cause of those seizures. I am no longer taking aricept but I am taking anti-convulsion drugs (Trileptal) and according to my neurologist, I will be taking this drug for the rest of my life. They have not found anything yet. Can somebody help me clarify this problem. Bob (Ottawa)
