avelox & tnedons--the connection?

I am just curious about the connection between Avelox and tendon injury. What--chemically, biologically--causes this side effect? What exactly is the drug--or a component thereof--DOING in scientific, technical terms to the tendon to cause it to become weak or inflamed or rupture? I am watchful about any ache or pain while I am taking it, but am fascinated by this odd potential side effect and would love to read a scientific explanation.

I can,t answer your question and i don,t think Bayer could tell you either. They don,t study their drugs long enough to really know it,s safety or lack of safety! Post observational data pours in by victims and Adverse event reports from the FDA years after drug is approved and sold for billion dollar profits, I do know Bayer tested avelox on DOGS. It caused lameness.Bayer paid young healthy subjects to test this poison initially. 10 or 15 subjects are not enough! Check this website. fqtoxicityresearchfoundation.org if you seek the truth.
