Blood pressure spiked-white coat syndrome

Posted at 2:28 PM on May 13, 2008 by sgatbb, #6004
I went to a doctor two weeks ago-new Doc, small office and experienced a panc attack. He took my BP and it was 240/100. It scared us both to death. He said go to ER. Instead I went to an Urgent Care place. BP had dropped but she gave me two pills within an hour. Please note that I do not have high blood pressure normally. Doc still wanted me to go to the ER. I chose to go home. I took Lisinophil-HCTZ over the weekend. BP dropped considerabley. Went to new Internist who took my blood pressure. It was 143/80. Doc said to stay on PB meds. Took BP three/four times a day. Highest was 111/56 and the lowest was 98/55. I am having terrible stomach cramp, dizzyness and nauasa. I called the office and was told to stay on it. Can a person's BP get "too low"
