Doctor prescribes lipitor pills in double the daily dosage required, so that I can order them by mail, get a 90 day supply and only pay 2 months co-pay. In addition, the doctor tells me to break the pills in half. I read on the drug fact sheet received with the prescription that you should not break lipitor pills in half. What problem(s) are caused by breaking lipitor pills in half?
I suggest that you take this dangerous drug in the trash before you have side effects. The drs. and the drug co's have a HUGE racket going on the anti-cholesterol drugs.
