can I take Hydrocodone while on Augmentin?

I have the worst sore throat I have ever had- I has flu symptoms a few days ago but since taking augmenting everything went away-except a horrible sore throat which keeps me awake all night- I have hydrocodone left over from a recent dental visit- think they are safe to take together?
