cause and effect

i will admitt, biabetes runs in my mothers side of the family. also that i been at the high end of normal on sugar readings. but since ive been on syntriod only half of my symptom have improved, with the other half gradually getting worse.(the fatiuge,tiered all the time,muscular acks and heart palpitations) ive been on syntriod for 1.5 yrs. and now i have a blood sugar reading of 276, no wonder ive been urinating more the past 2months and feeling like crap. has syntriod brought this about? perhaps years sooner than it may have happened?
