Hi strange you mention this Yes i was on Paxil for number of years..no problem.Yet due to the fact i had gained weight and ofcourse Paxil caused it..I giving another anti-depressant instead..Bout i month later it began..I felt like i was on fire..what a scary feeling,,I had a few paxil put aside ..took one a hour later the symtoms were gone..So i again waited and ask my new doctor to change my Paxil to something else that would help my weight gain..CELEXA and i stoped te Paxil went on Celexa ..exactly 6 weeks later ..same horrible uncontrolable feeling..burning inside ,dry mouth etc.. i again had a Paxil handy ..took it ..within a hour i was back to mornal.. So i do believe i was not meant to wean off Paxil..Have you been on any other anti-depressants? Hope this helps Carmen

No I hadnt been on any other anti-depressant only citalopram. I was told sometimes when you are on meds and have that symptom of burning sensations that usually means its a reaction from the med.
