clarification please

I am taking Singulair but I am thinking about coming off it. My question is, can it be taken when the person has open angled glaucoma like me. My doctor knows that I have glaucoma and still prescribed it, but i've been reading that people with glaucoma should not be taking it. By the way, this is NOT mentioned on the leaflet I got with the prescription. Thanks Vickie

You can read Singulair's FDA approved label here: http://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?id=8034#nlm34076-0
