I was told to stop taking medications that thin blood prior to procedure. Is Ultracet among these type of medications?

Hello, Most of the blood thinners they are referring to are things like Coumadin, Warfarin, and Plavix). You should also stop taking any NSAIDS (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) like aspirin, aleve, ibuprofen. Ultracet is NOT a blood thinner so don“t worry. Continue to take it as it was prescribed. Also, discontinue any vitamins you are also taking. You can always talk to your doctor if you feel uncomfortable. Good luck with your procedure -- I had one done in August. The only unpleasant part is the preparation. Everything else is a cinch! :)
