Comparison between Vicodin and Percoset.

Posted at 4:56 AM on Dec 04, 2008 by deja_vu822, #8506
Two years ago I was prescribed a 5/500mg dosage of Vicodin that I used for about a month. A few days ago I was prescribed a 5/325mg dosage of Percoset for a condition that was practically the same, only the one from two years ago was taken care of in an office instead of in surgery. The Percoset does not seem to be working much for me. The Vicodin made me more drowsy to allow me to sleep through the pain and it gave me relief more quickly. The Percoset, however, does not seem to do this, and I'm beginning to think it makes me more tense and anxious than anything else. It doesn't provide much relief and when it does so, it takes quite some time to kick in. I've read that Percoset is supposed to be much stronger than Vicodin, so I'm wondering how my dosages compare and if this should be happening.
