Crazy mood swings

I've been taking adderall for about a year now i don't know what kind for sure they are but they are blue10mg 3xs a day surprising i only need 10mg. I ve been having these really high highs when im on them and really low lows when im coming down from them. I cant take the recommended amount cuz they make my heart feel like its gonna pop out of my chest, but 10 seems to be enuf. I want to know if this is normal having these mood swings?
