Darvocet-N 100 and acetomineophin

Posted at 12:52 AM on Aug 15, 2007 by urbankittin, #2926
Do all prescriptions of Darvocet-N 100 contain acetomineophin? I specifically asked my physician for a pain killer that does not have acetomineophin because I take them so often and I am trying to avoid liver and/or kidney damage. If you know the answer to my question, please let me know. He has been out of town for weeks and won't be back until September. Thank you! :0)

Is Darvocet n. 100 /APAP 100-650------a chemical breakdown=100mg of the opiode type substance and 550 acetominophen? My partner was prescribed this for shoulder pain pre-surgery and it only helped for 1-2 days. Can he take more than one tablet at night?
