Daughter has Mirena

Hair loss does seem to be one of the side effects, as well as the depression.

I would definatley tell your daughter to get that thing out before all her hair is gone! I to am only 19 and ive never had a baby and my hair falls out in clumps! Everyone will try to tell you that its because she had a baby but ive personally lost half my hair and ive only had mirena for a year. I got mine out last tuesday and my hair is still coming out so it takes awhile for your hair to return to normal. But it was the a bad experience for me as well. MY stomach hurt all the time too! pains, they didnt last long but they were sharp and just hit out of no where ask your daughter if she has like fluttering or notice oily skin and hair because that all comes with mirena i even take multi vitamins daily and still experienced hair loss. Well i hope the best for both of you i just want to help because i feel so dumb for not researchin this thing now my beautiful hair is all gone!
