depakote with illegal drug use

my brother was in a rehab for 2 weeks and they gave him depakote, seraquel, and cymbalta. He has went right back to doing his "stuff" again. I was wondering what the effect is going to do to him and how he can get off this medication? I am really looking for some answers please?
