what is the difference between quasense and seasonale. I see the same strengths, but I was taking seasonale for 5 years, switched to jolessa for 1 year with no problems and now have moved to a different state and the generic is quasense and have taken it 4-5 months and suddenly, not at the correct time, my period has started and will not stop. I usually bleed with a period for 3-4 days max and I have been bleeding for two weeks.

I had that issue with Jolessa. I would have breakthru bleeding for 2-3 weeks and then a regular period for 7 days. I just switched to Quasense and hopefully it will work better. I never had any issues with Seasonale so I'm not sure why these medications are giving off these weird side effects. The only suggestion I have is to request the name brand prescription from your doctor. Just explain the issues and side effects your are having from the generic and they should be able to prescribe it for you.
