Dosage Adjustment

I take Restoril 30 mg at bedtime. I usually sleep 6-7 hours. I sometimes will wake up after 2 or so hours, unable to fall back asleep. Would it be possible to take another dose at this time, in the middle of the night? I don't want my doctor thinking that I'm showing drug-seeking behavior for purposes of obtaining the med for use other than my insomnia. How should I handle this?
