Effects of Biaxin

Does anyone know how long the effects from Biaxin can stay in your system. I finished a 10 day RX for Biaxin about 2 weeks ago. The only side effect I had while taking the RX was metallic taste and slight nausea and stomach pain. Now, after 2 weeks, I feel like I am getting panic attacks and drug withdrawal. My doctor wants me to see a psychiatrist. Has anybody experienced delayed reaction? Something similar happened to me two years ago after taking Avelox (actually I stopped this RX after 2 pills due to shakes and jitters and tinnitus). However, for up to six weeks after, I was experiencing panic attacks, etc, and the tinnitus lasted 9 months.
