exercise and diovan

My client is using diovan for high blood pressure. After 7-10 days of her taking her blood pressure and heart rate, I noticed that the blood pressure was well within the norm but her heartbeat was ranging from 80+ - 101. I was a little concerned with this and I have been doing research on the effect of diovan and the heart rate in order to set her in the correct "Range" for her exercise heart beat. Does Diovan increase the heart rate?
